CHEMIX.ORG

IT LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL😍
DAY 02/30 Challenge.

#e-learning, distance learning & remote learning.

So here’s a 2nd update for teachers who teaches science-chemistry!!
I have been using this https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions for using chemistry lab diagrams this is sooooooo much fun as I can use different lab equipments!
As for the current Situation its a quite difficult for a teachers to show lab experiences but thanks to https://chemix.org/ who have helped us to show virtual lab for kids!

I have created a sample for you to have a glance of equipments, teachers can create sample diagram files that they then share with their students, who can then reopen them and continue editing, as part of a class assignment.

Do try and share your experience😇😊

SUGAR MOLECULES/CHEMICAL FORMULA

Sugar chemical Formula Sugar, also known as saccharose, sucrose or by the chemical name α-D-glucopyranosyl, is a carbohydrate extensively used in the food industry and homemade food preparation. Formula and structure:  The sucrose chemical formula is C 12 H 22 O 11  and the molar mass is 342.30 g mol -1 . The structure is a disaccharide formed by two subunits, one of glucose and one unit of fructose. The crystal structure is monoclinic. Its chemical structure can be written as below, in the common representations used for organic molecules. Physical properties:  Sucrose is white, odorless and sweet taste crystalline solid. It is highly soluble in water (2000 g /L) and other polar solvents. Its density is 1.587 g mL -1 . The sucrose doesn't have melting point, it decomposes up to 186 C. Chemical properties:  The sucrose is formed by two subunits of other very known sugars: fructose and glucose. One of them is a six member heterocycle (glucose ring) ...

THE EGG FLOAT TEST!

The Egg Float Test Together, and with the help of a small bowl of water, let’s save millions of perfectly good eggs from being thrown away. Egg shells are very slightly porous. Over time, air seeps into the shell making it lighter than it was, and, when it is old and no longer good to eat, it floats. Hence, the egg float test.

NASA STEM ENGAGEMENT.

DAY 0 7 /30 Challenge. #e-learning, distance learning & remote learning. NASA STEM ENGAGEMENT! My next update for teachers’ as well as for students, “NASA STEM ENGAGEMENT” is a platform where it is beneficial for everyone who loves space/ astronauts and much more. Teachers can use this website to make  more interactive while teaching topic like galaxies, solar system, etc. NASA STEM @home resources-- Activities for students and teachers'. Grades like K-4, 5-8, 9-12. FOR EDUCATORS- Stem lessons from space, Informal Education, Higher Education. Description: NASA’s journeys have propelled technological breakthroughs, pushed the frontiers of scientific research, and expanded our understanding of the universe. These accomplishments, and those to come, share a common genesis: education in science, technology, engineering, and math. In NASA STEM Engagement, deliver tools for young Americans and ...
