QUIZLET

DAY 04/30 CHALLENGE

#e-learning, distance learning & remote learning.

So here is my 4th update for teachers, for distance and remote learning, after taking up your lessons it's become very difficult to check the retention power of your students, so here is a better alternative to check your student's progress, which "QUIZLET" has been provided!
Here I have shown you a sample of my quiz, either you can create or use which is already available on the site, it's a really amazing fun learning mode for teachers as well as for students, you can create your own study set, create your own quizzes, can add images related to your content!
THANKS TO QUIZLET TEAM!! FOR YOUR INNOVATIVE IDEAS!!

7 smart ways to use Quizlet for virtual learning

  1. Prompt students to create their own sets. Taking ownership of their work will encourage students to study more. Students can then rate each other's sets for peer review.
  2. Create a class competition with Match — with the top three students with the fastest times earning bragging rights or even some extra credit!
  3. Ask students to create study sets to support their reading comprehension and vocabulary acquisition in collaborative projects on global issues.
  4. For ESL courses, have students create their own reading comprehension and/or vocabulary quiz after having read a text provided digitally. These quizzes can then be "traded" with other classmates, and then self-administered.
  5. 5. Fill in the blanks — if your students need to study long passages or complex concepts (science teachers), create a series of flashcards with words blanked out. Slowly remove more and more words until students know it by heart. Encourage students to practice reading it out loud at home.
  6. Math teachers can assign students problems to solve with the answers given on the back of flash cards. Students can then self correct errors if needed.
  7. Assign activities that include viewing flashcards. Have students complete every activity, take a screenshot of the completed activity, and submit progress via Google Classroom.

SUGAR MOLECULES/CHEMICAL FORMULA

Sugar chemical Formula Sugar, also known as saccharose, sucrose or by the chemical name α-D-glucopyranosyl, is a carbohydrate extensively used in the food industry and homemade food preparation. Formula and structure:  The sucrose chemical formula is C 12 H 22 O 11  and the molar mass is 342.30 g mol -1 . The structure is a disaccharide formed by two subunits, one of glucose and one unit of fructose. The crystal structure is monoclinic. Its chemical structure can be written as below, in the common representations used for organic molecules. Physical properties:  Sucrose is white, odorless and sweet taste crystalline solid. It is highly soluble in water (2000 g /L) and other polar solvents. Its density is 1.587 g mL -1 . The sucrose doesn't have melting point, it decomposes up to 186 C. Chemical properties:  The sucrose is formed by two subunits of other very known sugars: fructose and glucose. One of them is a six member heterocycle (glucose ring) ...

THE EGG FLOAT TEST!

The Egg Float Test Together, and with the help of a small bowl of water, let’s save millions of perfectly good eggs from being thrown away. Egg shells are very slightly porous. Over time, air seeps into the shell making it lighter than it was, and, when it is old and no longer good to eat, it floats. Hence, the egg float test.

NASA STEM ENGAGEMENT.

DAY 0 7 /30 Challenge. #e-learning, distance learning & remote learning. NASA STEM ENGAGEMENT! My next update for teachers’ as well as for students, “NASA STEM ENGAGEMENT” is a platform where it is beneficial for everyone who loves space/ astronauts and much more. Teachers can use this website to make  more interactive while teaching topic like galaxies, solar system, etc. NASA STEM @home resources-- Activities for students and teachers'. Grades like K-4, 5-8, 9-12. FOR EDUCATORS- Stem lessons from space, Informal Education, Higher Education. Description: NASA’s journeys have propelled technological breakthroughs, pushed the frontiers of scientific research, and expanded our understanding of the universe. These accomplishments, and those to come, share a common genesis: education in science, technology, engineering, and math. In NASA STEM Engagement, deliver tools for young Americans and ...
